TV vs. MTV

One of the shows that i watch quite often is CSI Miami. I like to watch this show because it is a suspenseful drama that is very entertaining. This show is about figuring out who made the crime by looking at evidence and following it up with suspects. The music in this show is very melodramatic. At the end of the show, they show the criminals getting put into the police cars to go to prison, and the music and mood is very sad, and depressing. The characters are all types of races, genders, and sizes. This show appeals to a wide-spread of people because the show is so diverse. Before the show begins it warn viewers that if you are not a certain age appropriate that you should not watch it.  This show has a lot of violence and graphics in it that are sometimes tough for me to watch. This show usually lasts for an hour, and it has a dramatic plot throughout. I have not watched this show lately to notice the types of commercials that come on, but i do remember seeing more of the same types of shows advertised that are in the same category of CSI Miami.
By comparing MTV to TV, they are similar, but have different aspects. They both proclaim a message to their viewers, but in a different way. They both give you feelings towards what you're watching. MTV appeals to teenagers and young adults mostly. MTV is a text just like TV. TV shows have a storyline and script for their shows, and MTV has a message along with their lyrics.
