A show that i have watched in the past is Man vs Wild. This show depicts a man who goes through differnet terrains of the world and survives off of what he has with him, and his surroundings. its easy to tell that the show is a rugged, commercial about nature by the clothes and gear Bear Grylls wears, and the name of the show. the types of commercials that appear during the show are commercials trying to sale outdoors appearel, and also outdoor tourist attractions. this points out the type of people that the show is reaching out too. One thing i noticed about this show is that its a man doing the surviving, and i thought that pertains to a more masculin audience. i know there is a new show with a husband and wife that try to survive in the nature together which adds both sexes to the show.
when it comes to mtv, i think of a channel that holds many channels into one. Mtv has plays many different types of music. the different types of music and there videos tell a different show each, and have differ tones, and differ feelings. this makes Mtv different than normal tv.
