What struck me as most interesting in the Girls just want to have fun video is the dancing. When I watched the video I would not have thought of the dancing as symbolizing anything, but in the article it says the dancing symbolizes the girls protesting how girls should normally act. What struck me as most interesting in the Love is a Battlefield video is how the street changed meaning. The article mentioned that in the beginning of the video the street was viewed as a place for prostituion for girls. At the end of the video though the stree is where the girls all get together and show their strength. I think the Love is a Battlefield video had a stronger message because it went to more extremes. The video that I chose is If today was your last day by Nickelback. I thing I noticed about my video is that in the beginning there are two guys who look like they are about to do something bad. This is saying that if this was your last day you have the choice of doing something prodeuctive or harmful. I aslo noticed in the video that the people film everything they are about to do. This is saying that you want to be doing something memorable if this was your last day. Reading the article on the videos did help me think about my video because it made me realize even the smallest detial probably has a meaning behind it.
