1. What struck me as most interesting about the videos was how the people dressed and acted, and the polar opposite messages that are conveyed. The people dressed in very weird clothing and had weird hairstyles. In "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", Cyndi Lauper acts all young and innocent. She wants to get out of the normal day to day life. In "Love is a Battlefield", Pat Benatar acts very rebellious and irresponsible. She gets kicked out of her family's house and becomes a prostitute.
2. "Love is a Battlefield" has the stronger message because it shows how girls shouldn't act and is more complex than "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."
3. The song I am doing is "HTML Rulez D00d" by The Devil Wears Prada. The song is about it doesn't matter what you are like on the outside because it depends what you are like on the inside. The other thing about the song is that we use lies and other things to cover up who we really are. Watching these two videos has helped me while working on my own video.
