1. What interested me the most in the two videos is that both videos showed women standing up for themselves in a traditionally patriarchal world, not only by the peoples actions, but they dress.
2. I thought the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" video, I feel, had the strongest message. The character in the video is defiant against all the social norms, and rebels against all that is considered normal. She is saying women don't have to be in the home and forever remain a housewife, and that it should be okay for a woman to do something more.
3. In the video "Chicken Fried" by Zac Brown Band, the artist make the claim that life filled with love and friendship is truly what is important. He is grateful for the troops that die to allow him the freedom to be with his friends and family. I feel like this assignment really will help me look at how the artist uses scenery and people's actions to prove his point in the video.
