1. After reading and watching the videos I noticed the messages of the songs are hidden within the scenery, and outfits, rather than solely through the lyrics. I never realized how much I've missed because I just watch the video instead of reading it and analyzing it's deeper meaning.
2. I thought "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" had a strong message. The girl was very defiant and never seconded guessed decisions. It no longer mattered to her what was "right" and "acceptable" for women to do. She just wanted to have fun and be herself.
3. Two claims I can make about my video "Don't Let Me Get Me," are the media is constantly trying to change people, through the way they look and dress, and if you don't look a certain way you don't fit in, and you will be looked at differently, and in some cases treated differently.
Reading the article opened my eyes to new aspects of my video that I need to pay attention to in order to gain further knowledge about the message Pink is trying to send.
