TV vs. MTV

Last night I watched my favorite TV show N.C.I.S.: Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The show is about the Major Case Response Team (M.C.R.T.) and the cases they investigate that involve the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

The commercials shown during the show were for food, cars, and clothes. The advertisers are charging us with our time or money and are trying to promote their product. Since N.C.I.S. is during the prime television slot, advertisers pay big money to get their commercials in and the most expensive commercials are also shown.

After reading the article, I now understand how to better analyze and interpret a music video for our paper. The set, costumes, props, and music are a few things that help the audience analyze the show.
