Cable goes into a funeral home to see how the bodies are prepare for the visitations. This is a strange task because must people are afraid of death and don't like dealing with. When he steps into the funeral home he is surprised by the homeliness of the lobby. He seems to have expected the room to be very cold because it was associated with death. He is also surprised by the business side involving the caskets. There are so many things to pick from reflecting the lifestyle of the desisted. He also assumed the place where the bodies where being prepared would be a dark and unclean place do to the connection to death. However, it was very clean like an operating room. It was very interesting that they are able to fix any defects in the face of the person.
I think that Goodbody's is a place a business where professionals work. A person must go to school to learn how to handle the bodies. It is a business like any other it just happens to deal with death. The people who work there seem to be relatively friendly and have a since of enjoyment for their job. When asked does their job depress them they say no because they feel they are helping the families deal with the death.
Cable expand the funeral home very well. He gave a detailed description of the location and appearance. He allowed the reader to experience something new through his writing.
This will help me by giving me a good explain of how to structure my paper and describe the setting.
