Befriending Barbie

Before this essay, I did not really care much about barbies and had little concern over them, I still feel the same way now, although I learned a few facts. I had no idea there was over a billion different pair of shoes for barbie, I mean who can come up with a billion different designs? What I liked about this essay is that it helped to explain why collectors act the way they do without any real assumptions about the people collecting. This story's most important part would be the emphasis on how kind the barbie collectors really are. The essay itself is a good example on how to not judge something without really understanding it, and to remove assumptions when analyzing a situation.
