The Last Stop

Cable's assumptions were just as mine were. I always assumed funeral homes were gloomy, erie, and a sad place. He learned that funeral homes were the last place that a family can see their loved ones dressed, and looking peaceful in their coffins. Cable had thought that the mortician would look exactly like he did, but was surprised at how cool and calm he was talking about his job. Tim takes his job very professionally. Cable did not realize that you can pick out all these beautiful wooden and bronze coffins to place you're loved ones in, and how expensive the coffins are. He realized that this just isn't a place to drop off your dead, they take good care of the deceased and transform their body almost like it is living. They also provide a resting place, unlike when you cremate someone. He learned that the employees are kind and want to help you in any way they can, but they do not provide emotional counseling following a death.
